Terms of service

NovaWeaver connects to a Microsoft Dataverse environment you sign in to, reads its schema metadata — table, column, relationship and option-set definitions — and lets you build and document a data model on a canvas. You can also author those definitions yourself, and generate documentation as Markdown, PNG, SVG or a JSON snapshot.

NovaWeaver only reads from Dataverse. Every request our servers send to a Dataverse organisation is an HTTP GET against a metadata endpoint. It never creates, changes or deletes anything in your environment, and never reads business records — only the definitions of the tables that hold them. To be exact: sign-in requests Microsoft’s user_impersonation scope, which would permit writing. The limit is behavioural — in what our software does, not in the permission granted.

Keep your password secure and your details accurate; you are responsible for activity under your account. A TOTP second factor is available in Settings. Tell us at f.storti@outlook.com if you think someone else has access.

This is the obligation that matters most. Connect an environment only if you are authorised to. You connect with your own Microsoft identity and the permissions it already holds; NovaWeaver cannot verify whether your engagement with that customer allows you to extract and store their schema. That judgement is yours, as is the confidentiality you owe them. If your authorisation ends, disconnect the environment and delete what you extracted.

Do not connect environments you are not authorised for; probe or attack the service or other users’ data; work around rate or plan limits; resell it as your own; or put unlawful content into free-text fields.

Every account is on the Free plan today: 1 connected environment, 20 entity extractions per calendar month (the counter resets at the start of each month, UTC), 1 design workspace, 10 entities per design, and 10 documents saved to your library. Generating and downloading documents is not capped — only saving them counts. PDF, Word and Excel generation are not built. The pricing page lists PDF and Word against plans that do not exist yet, and the home page says Word and Excel “ship next” — both are roadmap, not features of your account.

Pro and Team are listed as “Coming soon” and cannot be bought. There is no payment path in the product and no prices are set. Nothing is charged, so there is nothing to refund.

At a limit the action is refused with a message naming it; nothing is deleted. If an extraction is counted but then fails to store, we try to return the count. The error message tells you whether it was; if it was not, write to f.storti@outlook.com.

There is no service level agreement — no uptime commitment, no guaranteed support response time, no promise that a feature will keep working. It is a pre-revenue product run by one person, dependent on third-party platforms and on Microsoft. Export anything you would not want to lose: Settings can export your data on demand — at most twice per 24 hours, and very large accounts are truncated (the archive’s README says where).

Delete your account at any time in Settings. Deletion asks you to type a confirmation phrase and your current password. If you have an authenticator enrolled, the sign-in you are using must already have been verified with it — otherwise deletion is refused until you sign in again with it. It then removes your account, designs, extracted metadata and generated documents. It cannot be undone. If any step fails you will see an error rather than a confirmation — tell us at f.storti@outlook.com and we will finish it. Your Dataverse refresh token is deleted here but not revoked at Microsoft — revoke the session in Microsoft Entra if you need that. The privacy notice covers what traces remain.

We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms, or where the law requires it.

NovaWeaver is provided as is, without warranties, so far as the law allows. We do not warrant that extracted metadata or generated documentation is accurate, complete or fit for a client deliverable — check it before you rely on it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss of data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer.

Italian law governs these terms and the courts of Italy have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections of your country of residence, and you can bring proceedings in the courts where you live.

We will post updated terms here with a new date. We send no product announcement emails, so please check this page. Using the service after that date means you accept the update.
